These upholstered pieces are one-of-a-kind designs from D. Rose that are currently available for purchase. We can ship any piece, and deliver in the Ann Arbor or Detroit areas and in between.
These frames have all been rescued, so we cannot currently offer multiples or customization of design and fabric. We're working on it!
Setting Sun in Garden footstool
Golden yellow rays of velvet streak across cool linen blooms on this 17x17x13 footstool. The rays continue across the trim onto the sides and split into hand cut, double-sided velvet fringe. When you prop your feet up at the end of the day, enjoy a walk in the garden in the light of the setting sun.
New cotton, sanded and stained light brown legs.

Asian Countryside in Bold
The refinished, darkly stained wood of a former dining room chair frames a linen print with scenes of the people, buildings, and foliage of the Chinese countryside. 3 buttons increasing in size add unique asymmetry and dimension to a gently sloping hill and geometric pagoda. Both of which are echoed in color and shape in the lime green velvet back with target shaped center above. Tiny images peek out of the outside back to make the chair charming from any angle.
Dining room seat replaced with armchair construction for comfort: new webbing, foam, and cotton.

Golden Bloom, Crimson Chevron Armchair
On the front of this formal armchair a crimson chenille with a delicate gold stripe is sewn on the bias into a cascading chevron that emphasizes the the flared shape of the back. On the outside back the flare accommodates a picture back of a large scale bloom on linen. The frame is refinished with a mahogany stain with gold foil leaf.
New foam and cotton.

Fierce Girl's Rocking Chair
A little girl needs a chair that reminds her that she can be both pretty and capable. The gold stripes on the seat of this chair continue onto the 3 rungs of the back and front in gold leaf foil, also featured on the side. The rungs also feature an empowering saying on both the front and back, the former from William Shakespeare in A Midsummer Night's Dream. The whole chair is painted a light pink with clear seal.
New foam and cotton to last her many years into the future!
